New York Times / Bay Citizen Profiles the Community Garden
The New York Times and the Bay Citizen recently featured the community garden where I have a plot: Local Intelligence: Brewster/Rutledge Garden, Bernal Hill. It includes a couple photos of Angela and I working in my plot, and some nice shots of the lovely gardening crew.
The Times version of the story (in the Bay Area edition on Christmas day, and online) has a couple other pics, including a shot of my bean seeds.

Here’s a shot of Angela showing off my gorgeous dried scarlet runner beans:

(The Bay Citizen, in case you’re wondering, is a shining star of the locally-focused online news organizations that have cropped up to fill the gap left after newspapers imploded their newsrooms by laying off tons of staff. They also provide content for the Thursday & Sunday editions of the NY Times. Bay Area peeps, you should check them out.)
